Therapy Intensives
Focused Time. Deeper Work. Meaningful Change.
Some therapeutic work benefits from having more time to unfold.
Therapy Intensives are extended sessions - beginning at 90 minutes - that offer focused, uninterrupted time to work with a particular issue, pattern, experience, or transition. Without the usual limits of a 50-minute session, we have more time to follow what emerges, stay with something that feels important, and explore it more fully.
That continuity can also allow the work to move more quickly. In weekly therapy, we repeatedly enter and leave the therapeutic process. An intensive gives us a longer stretch of time to remain engaged with what we're working on. Depending on the person and what we're working with, that can mean accomplishing more in a concentrated period than might be possible across several shorter sessions.
My Approach
Each intensive is shaped around you and what you're bringing to the work.

Before an intensive, we'll spend time clarifying what you'd like to focus on and what you're hoping might shift. That gives us a direction for the work without requiring us to know in advance exactly where it will lead.
During the intensive, I may draw from somatic and relational approaches, Brainspotting, parts work, mindfulness, and other experiential practices. We might work with thoughts and meaning, emotions, physical sensations, imagery, memories, or patterns that become more apparent as we go.
The longer format gives us time to stay curious about what is happening and respond to it as we go. My role is to stay attuned to you and the process, offer guidance when it's useful, and help create the conditions for something different to become possible.
